with a full-rig slavery circuit, which reduced the necessary crew numbers from 16,113 to around 2,200 per
Dreadnaught. The fleet's crew are all infected with the Hive virus, and die before they can transmit the
location of the Katana Fleet. The Dreadnaughts remain lost. Throughout the years, many people claim to
know the location of the Katana Fleet, but it is not rediscovered.

The Republic’s demise truly begins. The Galaxy is in a state of tension – many factions are beginning to
become increasingly hostile towards the Republic. The situation is made worse due to the fact that the
Jedi Knights are dwindling in number – there are only around 10,000 remaining.

32 BBY
The Trade Federation, a group of wealthy traders, become angry with the Republic’s taxation of the Trade
Routes. In response, they initiate a blockade around the peaceful planet of Naboo. The Republic dispatches
two Jedi Knights, Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi, to investigate the blockade and come to a settlement.
Little do the Jedi know that the Trade Federation are being manipulated by a mysterious Sith Lord
named Darth Sidious. Sidious tells the Trade Federation leaders to kill the Jedi. They fail, and escape with
Naboo’s ruler to Coruscant. They plead their case before the Republic Senate, but fail to gain the support
they’d hoped for. The ruler of Naboo, Queen Amidala, calls for a vote of no confidence in the current Supreme
Chancellor. A new person is found to fill this position – Supreme Chancellor Palpatine.
The Queen returned to Naboo against the wishes of the new Supreme Chancellor. Obi-Wan Kenobi
and Qui-Gon Jinn accompany her. They manage to liberate the planet, but Qui-Gon is killed by a mysterious
Zabrak warrior. The Sith have revealed themselves to an unsuspecting Galaxy once more.

Obi-Wan Kenobi discovers the mysterious Count Dooku forming the Confederacy of Independent Systems
with various groups, including the Trade Federation, the Galactic Banking Clan and the Techno Union.
They discuss their plans on the Outer Rim planet of Geonosis. Together, these groups have managed to
forge a new droid army, incorporating many new designs and features.
Intelligence makes it’s way back to the Republic, and the Senate. In order to combat the threat of the
Seperatists, the Senate vote emergency powers to Supreme Chancellor Palpatine. Palpatine announces that
he will create a Grand Army of the Republic to protect the Republic and its worlds. Palpatine promises to
give up these powers when the threat has passed.
Kenobi is captured, and the Republic forces arrive on Geonosis. The Battle of Geonosis ensues – the
Republic is victorious, but this signals the start of what becomes known as the Clone Wars.

In response to the outbreak of hostilities between the Republic and the Separatists, the Corellian System closes its borders to both sides. Newly elected senator Garm Bel Iblis is recalled to Corellia and plays no role in opposing or supporting Palpatine’s rise to power during the Clone Wars.

Corellia is forced to take a role in the Clone Wars and reopens its borders to the Republic. The Corellian Military and Corellian Security Force join in the conflict.

20 BBY
The Clone Wars have been raging for almost three years. The Galaxy is tired of the war, but the Republic continues
to fight. Supreme Chancellor Palpatine has managed to transform the Senate into a virtual dictatorship, 'ammending'
the Republic Constitution many times. He has full control over the Senate and the Courts - only the Jedi now
stand in his way.

A Separatist fleet, led by the notorious General Greivous and Count Dooku, begin what seems to be a final assault on
Coruscant. The Galactic capital has remained largely unscathed from the war, until now. Reports of battle droids
landing in the Government District cause many to panic, but these droids mysteriously withdraw after only a few
hours.

Relief spreads over Coruscant, but it is shortlived - Supreme Chancellor Palpatine has been kidnapped by the Separatists.
To many, the Supreme Chancellor is a hero. He has refused to back down from the Separatists, and continues
to fight them with every breath. He has devoted his life to running the Republic - and although his term as Chancellor
should have expired many years ago, he is still loved almost universally.

The Jedi Council are also tracking down the mysterious Darth Sidious - indeed, they fear he has inflitrated the Republic
Government itself, and is using Chancellor Palpatine to his own needs.
19 BBY
Emperor Palpatine issues the “Alien Containment Decree”, and orders a massive military build up unparalleled in
Galactic history.

The planet Caamas is destroyed by the Empire. It is the first planet that the Empire has destroyed. Although the planet is not totally
wiped out, its surface is totally uninhabitable.
Firestorms tore across the planet's surface for years after the actual destruction, until eventually all oxygen on the planet was
completely burned out. A group of Bothans were involved in bringing down the shield generators on the planet so that the Imperial
fleet could attack the planet. The names of these Bothans were kept top secret - only one record is created, and kept in Palpatine's
secret files. The government of Alderaan takes an interest in the incident, and secretly makes a huge databank on Caamas and its
destruction. Those Caamasi who were offworld when the attack took place went into hiding. Many fled to Alderaan, where Bail
Organa had set up a secret resort for them to live at.

18 BBY

Trey Breden, leader of the Black Sun, dies in a mysterious industrial accident. Rumours circulate that this was organised, but no proof can be found. His son, Hal Breden, takes over his father’s position as head of the Black Sun. Immediately following this event, the Black Sun becomes part of the Exchange, an alliance of many different criminal and smuggling groups.

17 BBY

Governor Tarkin of the Sesswenna Sector sends the Emperor a document laying down his ideas on how the Galaxy should be governed. Far from being insulted, Palpatine welcomes the document. Officially designated "Imperial Communiqué #001044.92v", it came to be known as the Tarkin Doctrine. It suggests that ruling through fear of force, rather than force itself is the best means to keep the Galaxy in line. Tarkin also suggested a superweapon which would instill fear into every living being who saw it. It would later become the Death Star project. Tarkin is promoted to the rank of Grand Moff for his efforts.

The last of the Corellian Jedi are hunted down and killed by Darth Vader on Selonia. Bel Iblis protests the acts taken to hunt them down in the Senate, only to be shouted down by Palpatine’s supporters. Bel Iblis firmly joins the senators allied to oppose Palpatine within the senate.

15 BBY

A brief power stuggle among several of the Senex Lords takes place. Duke Anak Strannyx, one of the Senex Lords, hires groups of mercenaries to defend his lands from House Vandron. Because of their service, Anak forms a mercenary organization of his own, called The Order.

Because of new Imperial trade regulations and tightening of control, smuggling in the Corellian system begins to increase drastically. Many Corellian traders are forced to go into smuggling to keep themselves in business. Additionally, Corellian pilots blacklisted by the Empire are in turn forced to take up smuggling for criminal elements of the galaxy. Galactic opinion of Corellians begins to plummet to a new low.

14 BBY

In order to see if Tarkin's idea of a powerful superweapon is feasable, he secretly sets up the Maw Installation. Located near a black hole cluster named the Maw Cluster, the Installation is remote. It was placed under the command of Tarkin's lover, Admiral Daala. Tarkin has some of the finest minds in the Galaxy working on the project, including the head of the project itself, Bevel Lemelisk. Although Tarkin keeps the Installation a secret from Palpatine, the Emperor finds out about it. He decides to allow Tarkin to believe that he does not know about the Maw Installation, and let the research continue.

12 BBY

The Night of 1,000,000 knives – The Black Sun takes over the Exchange at the order of Hal Breden.

Emperor Palpatine orders the construction of his top-secret facility on Wayland. The facility is built into Mount Tantiss, and

the construction is kept completely secret.

10 BBY

Kuat Drive Yards finishes the first Star Destroyer. It is christened the ‘Imperial’, and the launch sequence is initated by Palpatine himself.

The Mount Tantiss facility on Wayland is completed. The Emperor begins to copy secret files and projects (including plans for a prototype cloaking device, a copy of the Caamas Document, and enough resources to build a war fleet) to the facility, ensuring that he has something to fall back on should his reign end. Palpatine also stores a large group of Spaarti Cloning Cylinders here. He makes it his policy to transfer all potentially useful plans, documents and devices to his storehouse.

Small resistance cells begin forming in Corellian space on the planets Talus and Tralus. Eventually these cells spread onto the other planets, growing in numbers and size each time word of another atrocity and injustice committed by the Emperor reaches the worlds of the Corellian system.

9 BBY

The Emperor approves the Death Star project. Research begins to create plans for the battle station – it will have enough power to destroy an entire planet.

8 BBY

Concerned at increasing amounts of dissent towards his rule, Emperor Palpatine dispatches Darth Vader to many trouble spots across the Galaxy. Vader slaughters millions in an attempt to silence the up and coming Rebellion.

7 BBY

Duke Anak Strannyx establishes a secret colony in the Tintagel system. This colony is be used to provide resources for The Order.

While in the Corellian Security Force Academy, Alexandre Sair is recruited into the resistance and quickly establishes himself as one of its leaders.

6 BBY

Research on the Super Star Destroyer begins at the shipyards of Fondor. It will use many exisiting, but modified versions of systems

and components from the Imperial-class Star Destroyer, therefore reducing the amount of time needed for research and construction.

Senator Bel Iblis, infuriated by continued actions of the Empire (specifically those of Grand Moff Tarkin), takes an active interest in the Corellian resistance groups and unifies them in a single body.

4 BBY

Construction of the Death Star begins around the penitentiary planet of Odik II, a hidden system in the Kuat sector.

A massive explosion destroys the Treitamma Political Center, minutes before Senator Bel Iblis was to give a speech. Bel Iblis survived the blast, but was believed to be dead. Bel Iblis returns to Corellia to lead the resistance movement on his homeworld.

3 BBY

The Fondor shipyards begin building the first Super Star Destroyer – the Executor.

Alexandre Sair rises to the position of Director of Corellian Security Force (CorSec), becoming the youngest director of the organization ever, after successfully reducing smuggling operations within Corellian space by 21%.

Bel Iblis begins attempting to unite as many resistance groups as possible into one great alliance in hopes of creating a resistance which can overthrow the Empire and building a military force large enough to counter the Imperial military machine.

2 BBY

Sair begins using his position as Director of CorSec to make contact with other resistance cells on other worlds, including Alderaan and Chandrila. Sair also begins recruiting members of CorSec into the Corellian Resistance and funneling funds and intelligence from the Corellian Government into the resistance.

Incom Corporation is nationalized by the Empire, but not before top engineers and technicians of the company defect to the Corellian Resistance. The defectors bring with them plans for and prototypes of the T-65 “X-wing” Fighter.

On the verge of being exposed by Imperial Intelligence as a member of the resistance, Sair steals the Imperial frigate Sentinel and leaves the Corellian system and CorSec behind. Other elements of the Corellian Resistance flee their homeworlds and take up positions in the Outer Rim.

On the planet of Halowan, Imperial Supervisor Gurdun oversees the creation of a new type of droid. It is the IG series, a highly illegal form of assassin droid. The Supervisor plans to present the droids to Grand Moff Zerla. The scientists at the Holowan Laboratories test a new form of AI, which gives the droids sentience. Unwilling to be ordered around, the IG assassin droids escape from the lab, killing many of the people who helped to create them - including Supervisor Gurdun. Grand Moff Zerla sends a team to investigate the lab, and discovers what has happened. He orders the lab to be sealed, with several prototype IG droids, AI systems and other projects still inside. Information about the incident is restricted.

1 BBY

During a meeting of various resistance groups at
Cloud City, Bespin, Garm Bel Iblis is killed by Imperial Intelligence agents. Alexandre Sair assumes command of the Corellian Resistance. Sair continues the work of his previous commander and continues to attempt a unification of the various resistance groups.

Corellian Resistance forces, with the backing of Jabba the Hutt, assaults the spice processing operations on the planet Ylesia. The Battle of Ylesia results in a major victory for the
Alliance and the liberation of several thousand slaves from Hutt captivity.

Palpatine becomes careless - he believes that the Rebellion is almost on his knees. He prepares to unleash the Death Star upon an unsuspecting Galaxy.

0 BBY

The Order moves its headquarters from the Senex Sector to the Tintagel system.

The Death Star is completed. The plans for the project are intercepted by members of the Alderaanian cell. Princess Wryn-Lora Ravyn of Alderaan goes to Commenor to deliver the plans to Obi-Wan Kenobi, who has managed to stay hidden from the Emperor and Darth Vader since the Great Purge. With Kenobi is William Ravyn, who is training to become a Jedi.

The Emperor dispatches his trusted servant, Darth Vader, to recover the plans for the Death Star battle station. Vader captures Princess Ravyn, and brings her before the Emperor aboard the Death Star.

Princess Ravyn refuses to divulge the location of the Rebel’s main base of operations. Because of this, the Emperor orders the destruction of the Princess’ home planet of Alderaan. He also declares that the Imperial Senate has become a breeding ground for Rebels and dissidents, and has it permanently dissolved.

The Princess is rescued, but Obi-Wan Kenobi dies whilst duelling Darth Vader so that the Princess and her rescuers can escape.

Princess Ravyn heads to the Rebel base, which is stationed on the fourth moon of the gas giant Yavin. Grand Moff Tarkin had ordered a homing device to be placed on their ship. The Death Star follows the Princess to Yavin.

The Rebellion scrambles all available fighters to combat the Death Star, and stop it before it can destroy Yavin IV. To everyone’s surprise, the Death Star is destroyed, along with Emperor Palpatine, Darth Vader and Grand Moff Tarkin.

After a brief power struggle on Coruscant between several high members of the Imperial High Command, Grand Moff Karl von Roma names himself Emperor. His rule goes mainly unchallenged, but some Imperials who disagree with the new Emperor retreat from the Empire with a host of ships, including Star Destroyers and various other equipment. There is no sign of any of these separatists. The Galactic Civil War truly begins.
