COMPNOR

The Commission for the Preservation of the New Order (abbreviated to COMPNOR) is an umbrella organisation whose primary purpose is to support and expand the Galactic Empire and its ideology. In order to fulfil this role effectively, an array of sub-branches fall within COMPNOR’s jurisdiction to deal with various spheres of governance and security throughout the Empire.

COMPNOR consists of a large bureaucracy managing many aspects of Imperial governance and administration, acting as part of the Empire’s civil service; internal security, justice, education, recruitment and the dissemination of information all fall within the Commission’s area of responsibility.

It acts as a political party of sorts, encouraging citizens to join the organisation to demonstrate their loyalty to the Emperor and support for the New Order and its achievements. There are also special cultural, sporting and political clubs for the Empire’s youth to join, allowing them to learn more about the Galactic Empire and its history and providing them with a stepping stone towards eventual service in the Imperial armed forces or civilian agencies.
