Deployable Imperial Research Center of the Ministry The Ministry of Science is responsible for the advancement, regulation, and oversight of all scientific research and technological development within the Galactic Empire. It coordinates civilian and military scientific efforts to ensure that discoveries serve the strategic needs of the New Order and contribute to Imperial supremacy.

Reorganized after the Clone Wars, the Ministry consolidated fragmented Republic-era research programs into a centralized body focused on efficiency, loyalty, and practical application. It directs funding, approves research projects, and enforces strict security protocols to prevent sensitive technologies from falling into unauthorized hands.

Imperial Science Bureau

The Imperial Science Bureau serves as the Ministry’s primary civilian research and development agency. It oversees general scientific inquiry, planetary resource analysis, and long-term technological projects that benefit Imperial infrastructure, medicine, and industry.

Imperial Department of Military Research

The Imperial Department of Military Research focuses on weapons development, defensive systems, and advanced military technologies. It works closely with the Imperial Navy and Army to design and improve starships, armaments, and battlefield equipment, ensuring the Empire maintains a decisive technological edge.

Advanced Science Division

The Advanced Science Division conducts classified research into cutting-edge and experimental technologies. Operating under high security protocols, it explores theoretical physics, exotic energy sources, and prototype systems that push the boundaries of known science for the benefit of the Empire.

The Ministry of Science coordinates with the Ministry of War and other agencies to align research priorities with Imperial military and industrial goals. Through rigorous oversight and centralized planning, it drives innovation while safeguarding the Empire’s technological superiority.

The Minister of Science reports directly to the Ruling Council and holds authority over all scientific policy, research funding, project approval, and the operations of the Imperial Science Bureau, Imperial Department of Military Research, and Advanced Science Division throughout the galaxy.
