Description
The weapon mounts a focused laser emitter on an open dish-shaped traverse above a low power and control housing. A small crew can emplace it quickly, connect it to a field generator, and direct fire through its optical and electronic sighting assembly. Its simple construction and modest logistical demands make it useful for secondary bases and reinforced fieldworks, although its exposed crew and limited output reduce its value against modern heavy armor.
