The Imperial Starfighter Corps
The Imperial Starfighter Corps is the elite atmospheric and space superiority arm of the Galactic Empire. An independent branch of the Imperial military, the Corps operates the fastest, most agile, and most advanced starfighters in the galaxy. It serves as the first line of defense and the swift striking arm of Imperial power.
Overview
Formed in the early years of the Empire from the best pilots of the Republic Navy and Clone Wars veterans, the Starfighter Corps was granted independent status to ensure maximum responsiveness and tactical flexibility. It excels in reconnaissance, escort duties, planetary defense, and decisive offensive strikes.
Leadership
The Imperial Starfighter Corps is directed by Starfighter Command, led by the Chief of Starflighter Operations. At the highest level is the Grand Marshalcy, the pinnacle rank of the Corps. These exceptional officers are personally appointed by Emperor Draco Tanos and represent the highest standard of excellence in the Starfighter Corps.
Mission
The Imperial Starfighter Corps exists to achieve and maintain total space superiority for the Empire. Whether screening capital ships, hunting pirates, intercepting rebel craft, or delivering precision strikes, the Corps stands ready to engage and destroy any threat to Imperial security.
Role in the Empire
