Special Divisions

The Special Divisions of the Galactic Empire are independent military and Force-using organizations that operate outside the standard structures of the Imperial Army, Navy, and Starfighter Corps. Each exists to fulfil duties requiring exceptional training, specialized equipment, or a direct service-wide mandate.

Stormtrooper Corps

The Stormtrooper Corps is the elite clone infantry service of the Galactic Empire. Descended directly from the Grand Army of the Republic, it serves as a force of shock troops, marines, strategic-response formations, and specialist infantry. Its members wear modern Phase III armor and preserve the discipline, unit traditions, and brotherhood established during the Clone Wars.

The Corps is organized into twenty-four Corps-level formations. Twenty are assigned territorially to the Priority Oversectors while retaining their own Stormtrooper service chains. Four central formations remain under Stormtrooper Command: the 1st Corps, or Coruscant Guard; the 125th Strategic Security Corps; the 233rd Strategic Reserve Corps; and the 24th Security Corps assigned in support of the Imperial Order.

Clone production continues at Kamino and Centax-2. Medical stabilization of accelerated aging has allowed many veterans of the Republic to remain in active service alongside later generations raised under the Empire.
