Description
The compact Kuat-built hull concentrates power in its engines, forward batteries, and combat shields. Heavy turbolasers engage frigates and cruisers, ion cannon disable targets for capture, and laser cannon protect the vessel during close pursuit. A small fighter detachment supports interception and scouting. Active-class frigates operate in mutually supporting divisions, using their speed to mass firepower against isolated targets before heavier hostile units can respond.
