Description
The rear troop section of the standard assault-walker chassis is replaced by a high-capacity generator, cooling plant, and traversable ion projector. The weapon can collapse vehicle shields, overload power systems, and disable large surface installations without the blast effects of a turbolaser strike. Because the cannon’s discharge imposes severe power and thermal loads, AT-IC crews fire from a braced halt and relocate between engagements under escort.
