The All Terrain Scout Transport is a highly mobile bipedal walker armed for reconnaissance, patrol, flank security, and anti-infantry work. Its compact footprint permits deployment where larger walkers cannot maneuver, though its balance and lighter armor leave it vulnerable to prepared ambushes and heavy weapons. Army doctrine pairs AT-ST sections with AT-AT companies and uses independent units for garrison security and pursuit operations.
