Arquitens-class command

Although it retains the recognizable Arquitens planform, the command model is a substantially redesigned warship with a shorter hull, enlarged command facilities, revised propulsion, and strengthened close-defense batteries. Four twin light turbolaser mounts engage capital targets, eight quad laser batteries protect the ship against attack craft, and concussion-missile launchers provide flexible striking power. A tractor projector supports recovery and inspection work. Its limited flight facilities accept a small fighter detachment or a landing craft, allowing the frigate to direct patrol groups and sustain security operations without a larger carrier.
