Description
Multiple flak pods launch high-velocity air-burst projectiles through a fast-traversing mount. Fire-control sensors calculate intercept points and distribute bursts across an approaching flight path. The projectiles pass through defensive energy screens before detonating near their targets, but repeated firing requires short cooling intervals. Manual depression permits fire against ground targets, although the specialized ammunition is ineffective against substantial armor.
