The CR70 is an earlier Corellian corvette and transport design that preceded the CR90. Its modular construction permits extensive refitting, including the Vanguard c20 conversion that can bring older hulls close to later CR90 standards. Surviving vessels remain useful for transport, patrol, liaison, training, and secondary security duties.
