Description
A single rapid-firing laser cannon occupies the rotating armored head of a cylindrical durasteel tower. The enclosed position shelters its gunner, targeting specialist, and power technician from small-arms fire while an integral generator permits sustained operation. The standard mounting covers a broad frontal arc; modified batteries can traverse completely around the tower. Its fire is most effective against concentrated troops, light vehicles, and exposed equipment, though the emplacement cannot withstand direct attack by heavy armor.
