Description
Heavy engine output and a dense weapons fit allow the DP20 to overtake raiders, reinforce threatened convoys, and strike larger vessels from close range. Turbolasers and concussion-missile launchers provide offensive power while laser cannon protect against small craft. Limited endurance and internal volume keep the frigate dependent upon bases or fleet auxiliaries during prolonged operations. The traditional nickname “Corellian Gunship” remains common among crews.
