Description
Slayn & Korpil developed the broad flying-wing Tempest during the final decades of the Galactic Republic. A detachable cockpit module at each end accommodates the pilot and weapons-system operator, while medium laser cannon, light ion cannon, proton torpedoes, and a ventral bomb bay provide a flexible heavy-strike load. Imperial service craft add a class-two hyperdrive and limited navigation computer to the original carrier-dependent design, permitting independent deployment without altering its established weapons or flight characteristics.
