HCVw A9

The A9 replaces the A6’s extreme mass with a smaller articulated hull optimized for speed, protected troop movement, and support of mixed armored formations. Its command section and configurable cargo body carry a twelve-person crew and as many as one hundred twenty-five troops. A dorsal rotary laser cannon supplies anti-air and anti-missile fire, twin heavy repeating blasters suppress infantry, and selected vehicles mount an additional turret and retractable guided-missile launchers. Deflecting armor geometry improves protection without restoring the weight of the earlier assault model.
