Description
The HTV-C carries a six-person signal crew and a protected suite of encrypted multiband transceivers, directional arrays, burst transmitters, network-control computers, and deployable relay nodes. It links dispersed formations with mobile command posts, artillery, aerospace support, and higher headquarters while monitoring interference and hostile transmissions. A roof-mounted light repeating blaster provides local defense, but the vehicle normally operates under headquarters security.
