Description
The MDU travels as a compact armored repulsorcraft carrying a standardized deployment frame. Once anchored, its crew raises one of three interchangeable mission modules: an electromagnetic field generator that disrupts guided missiles, a concussion-grenade mortar for local fire support, or an offensive sensor node equipped with an energy-discharge defense. A deployed platform cannot move until its module is retracted and secured. MDU sections allow advancing formations to protect temporary command posts, landing zones, and captured objectives without awaiting engineering construction.
