Description
The monumental domed complex centers on the vast Senate Rotunda, where thousands of repulsorpods carry senatorial delegations into the chamber for debate, petition, and formal proceedings. Committee rooms, delegation offices, archives, communications centers, public galleries, ceremonial halls, service districts, and protected transit connections support the work of the Senate. The central presidium and speaking platform govern proceedings, while the Senate Guard secures the chamber, approaches, offices, and official processions. The building remains one of the principal institutions of Imperial government and a visible forum for the representation of member worlds.
