Description
Eight independently suspended wheels give the ITC-8 reliable cross-country mobility without dependence upon repulsorlift systems. Its sealed armored compartment protects the driver and six embarked soldiers from weather, contamination, and small-arms fire. A roof-mounted laser cannon supplies suppressive fire during dismount and extraction. The carrier is issued to garrisons, field-security units, and mechanized detachments operating in regions where the faster K79-S80 is poorly suited to local terrain or electronic conditions.
