Description
Installed in a hardened emplacement, the battery links a high-output laser mount with fire-control sensors, tracking equipment, power conditioning, and protected crew stations. It engages heavy atmospheric craft and targets in near space as part of an integrated defense network. Distributed batteries exchange tracking data with command centers and sensor arrays, allowing several positions to concentrate fire on a selected approach.
