Description
The MA-7 carries a medium energy mortar on a compact repulsorlift chassis. Four stabilizers anchor the vehicle during firing, allowing its projector to loft concentrated bolts over intervening terrain and strike targets beyond direct line of sight. A fire-control computer accepts coordinates from forward observers, reconnaissance vehicles, and command posts. Its speed permits batteries to displace immediately after a mission, although the lightly armored platform depends upon screening forces for protection against close attack.
