Description
Its stabilized energy mortar can engage targets masked by walls, ridgelines, and urban structures. A three-person crew operates the vehicle, computes firing solutions, and feeds coordinates received from forward observers into the navigation-linked fire-control system. The compact chassis fits aboard standard landing craft and can accompany units unable to justify a full artillery battery. Light armor and limited range keep it close to supported troops but behind the direct-fire line.
