Description
A sacrificial VACX coating protects the hull during its twelve-hundred-kilometer-per-hour atmospheric drop. One pilot carries one hundred sixty troops or two hundred metric tons of cargo, then returns to orbit under conventional power. A retractable light laser cannon provides limited protection after entry. Fleet commands also use the craft for personnel transfer and cargo movement between major operations.
