Onager-class

The vessel is constructed around paired axial weapons extending through much of its forward hull. Depending upon mission fit, these mount superheavy composite-beam turbolasers or orbital-bombardment particle cannons. Advanced targeting and long-range sensor arrays calculate firing solutions before ordinary batteries can answer, while reinforced forward shields protect the ship during its attack run. Six twin heavy turbolaser batteries, twenty-four heavy turbolaser batteries, twenty point-defense cannon, two hangars, and a full TIE wing provide limited independent combat capability. Its vulnerable flanks and immense weapon conduits require escort by conventional warships. Siege Operations employs the class against shield generators, hardened positions, blockades, and priority capital targets.
