Description
A long articulated chassis carries a reactor, cooling plant, fire-control station, and elevated heavy turbolaser projector. Twelve independently controlled legs distribute the vehicle’s mass and brace the weapon during firing. The crew can traverse broken ground without constructing a prepared firing site, while modular hull sections permit the projector and mission equipment to be exchanged during depot overhaul. SPHA-T batteries normally operate behind the advance under dedicated reconnaissance and air-defense cover.
