Star Galleon-class

Heavy armor, deflector shields, turbolasers, and a forward concussion-missile launcher allow the Star Galleon to resist raiders while remaining within a convoy formation. Three hundred security troops and layered anti-intruder systems protect the interior against boarding. If capture becomes unavoidable, the detachable cargo module can enter hyperspace independently, execute an unpredictable sequence of jumps, and transmit a secured recovery signal. These vessels carry strategic supplies, treasury consignments, replacement equipment, and other cargo whose loss would justify assigning a warship as its transport.
