Tantiss Base

Two concentric rings of hangars and protected chambers are cut into the mountain, providing laboratories, cloning facilities, detention levels, landing areas, barracks, storage, and command spaces. Turbolaser positions defend the approaches while stationed interceptors challenge unauthorized aircraft. Access coordinates are compartmentalized and supplied only through controlled navigation transfer, preventing ordinary crews from learning the facility’s location. The base serves as the headquarters of the Advanced Science Division and receives sensitive personnel, specimens, and research from across the Empire.
