Description
Numerous rapid-tracking laser batteries overlap around the hull and are coordinated by dedicated fire-control sensors. High sublight speed allows the frigate to remain close to valuable ships, intercept incoming attack formations, and reposition as the defensive screen changes. Tartans normally operate with heavier combatants whose turbolasers supply the anti-ship power the frigate itself lacks.
