Description

A reinforced command pod, bent radiator panels, deflector shields, and an integral hyperdrive distinguish the x1 from standard carrier fighters. Paired laser cannon and a projectile launcher support interception and strike missions, while advanced flight controls permit exceptional maneuverability. The costly prototype serves as a development platform for later high-performance TIE designs and remains restricted to selected pilots.
