Description
The TIE ap-1 applies Sienar design principles to a compact surface vehicle carrying rapid-fire anti-personnel weapons. It is most effective in reconnaissance-in-force, pursuit, and attacks on exposed infantry, but lacks the protection required for prolonged combat against tanks. A demolition charge permits a disabled vehicle to be denied to the enemy and may be employed against critical targets under exceptional circumstances.
