Description
The starboard pod houses the pilot and additional troops while the enlarged port pod contains seating, an assault ramp, docking claw, and military-grade hull cutter. Deflector shields protect the craft during final approach. Laser cannon and warhead launchers suppress external defenses, after which the claw secures the shuttle and the cutter opens a controlled entry point. The TIE/br can also land conventionally, recover escape pods, and transport security personnel between ships and stations.
