TIE/ca "Punisher"

Four armored ordnance pods surround the command module and divide the bomber’s payload among independent magazines. Upper bays feed missile and torpedo launchers, while the lower pods incorporate bomb chutes capable of releasing multiple weapons during a single attack run. Laser and ion cannon permit the pilot to suppress defenses or disable a target before ordnance release. Reinforced structure, deflector shielding, and extensive fire-control automation allow the single-seat craft to survive attacks beyond the capacity of ordinary TIE bombers, although its cost and specialized maintenance restrict it to heavy strike formations.
