Description
An elongated command pod accommodates reinforced structure and a modular weapons bay. A forward laser cannon permits strafing, while the bay can carry concussion missiles, proton torpedoes, fragmentation bombs, mines, or mission cargo. TIE/gt formations normally receive precise target coordinates from TIE/fc controllers, although the craft can attack large fixed objectives independently. Its simple systems and shared TIE components keep the design useful to garrisons and close-support units alongside newer bombers.
