Description
Two light turbolasers give the Mangler decisive reach and striking power against targets normally resistant to starfighter cannon. Three secondary cannon maintain continuous defensive fire while the primary weapons recharge. High-output engines and reinforced shields permit brief close engagements, although the craft is most effective when firing from beyond ordinary fighter range or supporting faster interceptors.
