Description
Two specialized disabler launchers deliver projectiles that destabilize a target’s deflector field. Once the screen collapses, paired ion cannon immobilize exposed vehicles and machinery for capture or destruction by accompanying armor. The TR-SD carries only limited conventional protection and advances under escort, withdrawing behind the line after opening a target to direct attack. Shield-disabler sections are assigned where fortified installations or shielded armored formations justify their specialized maintenance burden.
