Description
The narrow, sword-shaped hull concentrates its principal batteries along the forward and lateral arcs while broad aft extensions protect the propulsion section and support dispersed defensive emplacements. Twin turbolasers and ion cannons allow the frigate to engage raiders and assist in disabling larger vessels. A layered point-defense network guards nearby transports and capital ships, while forward concussion-missile launchers break coordinated attack runs or add weight to a pursuit. Victoria-class frigates serve in escort divisions, system-defense groups, and the screens of major fleet formations.
