Description
The Victory I-class Star Destroyer is a distinguished capital warship of the Imperial Navy, with a record of service extending from the concluding campaigns of the Clone Wars into the present era of Imperial peacekeeping and sector security. Developed to meet the Republic’s urgent requirement for a durable, heavily armed fleet combatant, the Victory I-class remains a respected and effective vessel within many Imperial naval formations.
Measuring 900 metres in length, the Victory I-class possesses the characteristic dagger-shaped hull profile now associated throughout the galaxy with lawful authority, military discipline, and the protection of civil order. Its design allows for the efficient concentration of forward firepower, robust command-and-control functions, and the deployment of embarked forces in support of regional operations.
The class is equipped with heavy turbolaser batteries, dual turbolaser emplacements, tractor beam projectors, and missile systems, enabling it to engage hostile capital ships, interdict unlawful vessels, support planetary security actions, and conduct precision operations against fortified military positions.
