Description
A high-elevation rotating mount gives the tower a wide field of fire above surrounding defensive works. Protected power feeds, fire-control stations, cooling machinery, and ammunition-free energy supply permit repeated heavy shots against walkers, landing craft, capital transports, and low-orbit targets. The tower is normally integrated with shield coverage and remote sensor stations because its size and emissions make it a priority target.
