Description
A lightweight, highly maneuverable fleet fighter optimized for mass deployment from carriers, stations, and planetary bases. The TIE/ln remains a core short-range fighter where endurance and independent hyperspace capability are less important than sortie rate, maintenance simplicity, and numbers.

One laser cannon is removed to make room for several sensor arrays, precision target-designation equipment, and secure data transmitters. The TIE/fc approaches the objective, maps defenses, and sends continuous firing corrections to ships and attack craft beyond effective counterfire range.
