The Imperial Armadas

The Imperial Armadas are the elite grand fleets of the Imperial Navy, personally commanded by Grand Admirals. These massive formations represent the pinnacle of Imperial naval power and are deployed for the most critical campaigns and decisive battles across the galaxy.

Role and Responsibilities

Imperial Armadas are used for large-scale strategic operations where overwhelming force is required. They can operate independently or in coordination with other naval and ground forces. Their presence alone is often enough to deter rebellion or crush significant resistance.

Command

Each Imperial Armada is commanded by a Grand Admiral. These officers report to the Chief of Naval Operations and ultimately to the Emperor.

Composition

Imperial Armadas are significantly larger and more powerful than standard Sector Groups. They include multiple fleets, numerous capital ships (including Imperial-class Star Destroyers), starfighter wings, and extensive support elements. Their exact composition is tailored to the mission and the Grand Admiral's preferences.
