Line Branch
The Line Branch is the core operational and administrative arm of the Imperial Navy. It is responsible for the strategy, tactics, and day-to-day management of the Navy's warships, capital ships, and support vessels, including all commanders and crews assigned to them.
Role and Responsibilities
The Line Branch handles the primary combat and logistical operations of the fleet. It is tasked with planning and executing naval engagements, maintaining fleet readiness, and ensuring the efficient operation of the Navy's capital ships and support craft. This branch forms the backbone of the Imperial Navy's power projection capabilities.
Organization
The Line Branch is divided into three main divisions:
Deck Division — Responsible for the day-to-day operation and command of ships.
Logistics Division — Handles supply, maintenance, and sustainment of naval forces.
Administration Division — Manages personnel, records, and administrative functions.
Status
The Line Branch is the largest and most essential branch of the Imperial Navy. It provides the commanders and crews that operate the Empire's mighty capital ships and ensures the Navy can fulfill its role as the guardian of Imperial space.
