The 20 Numbered Aero Forces
Numbered Aero Forces are the highest formations in the normal Order of Battle of the Imperial Starfighter Corps. There is one Numbered Aero Force assigned to each of the twenty Priority Oversectors. They coordinate all Starfighter Corps operations within their assigned region and work in close cooperation with the corresponding Oversector Group of the Imperial Navy and the Sector Armies under that Oversector.
Role
Each Numbered Aero Force is responsible for achieving and maintaining space superiority across its Oversector. It directs the Sector Wings under its command, allocates resources, and provides the strategic direction for all Starfighter Corps activity in the region.
