Special Tactics and Rescue
Special Tactics is the elite ground support arm of the Imperial Starfighter Corps. It consists of highly trained operators who enable and protect starfighter operations under the most demanding conditions.
Combat Controllers
Combat Controllers specialize in establishing and securing forward operating locations for Imperial starfighters. They survey potential sites, prepare landing zones and temporary facilities, and provide terminal control for air and space strikes. Once a location is established, they direct the flow of starfighter traffic and coordinate fire support for ground and space forces.
Combat Rescue
Combat Rescue operators are the combat search and rescue specialists of the Starfighter Corps. They recover downed pilots and other personnel from hostile environments and provide advanced medical treatment under fire. Their mission is simple and absolute: leave no one behind.
Training and Selection
Both Combat Controllers and Combat Rescue operators undergo some of the most rigorous training in the Imperial military. Selection is highly competitive, and only the most capable and determined candidates complete the pipeline. Once qualified, these operators deploy across the galaxy in support of Starfighter Corps operations.
