Aegis Operations

Scout Trooper Aegis Operations is the defensive arm of Battlestation Command. It is responsible for the construction, maintenance, and operation of the Empire’s fixed and orbital defensive stations, including Golan platforms, planetary defense networks, and fortified space installations.

Role and Responsibilities

Aegis Operations ensures that key Imperial worlds, shipyards, and strategic locations are protected by layered defensive systems. Its stations provide long-range firepower, sensor coverage, and command facilities that allow the Empire to control orbital space and deter or destroy attacking forces.

Primary Assets

The most common platforms under Aegis Operations include the various Golan-series defense stations, as well as specialized orbital fortresses and sensor nets. These installations form the backbone of Imperial planetary and system defense doctrine.

Integration

Aegis Operations works closely with the Imperial Navy and Starfighter Corps to coordinate defensive coverage. Its stations often serve as command and control hubs during major defensive operations and as secure bases for fleet elements assigned to protect critical systems.
