The High Council

Roundel of the Imperial Order The High Council is the senior governing body of the Imperial Order. It consists of twelve members and serves as the primary advisory and decision-making body for the Order under the authority of the Grandmaster.

Composition

The High Council maintains the traditional structure of twelve seats. Five seats are held for life, four are long-term appointments, and three are limited-term seats. Membership is largely self-selecting, following the long-standing traditions of the old Jedi High Council. The Council includes representation from the Council of First Knowledge, the Council of Reconciliation, the Council of Reassignment, and the Service Corps.

Leadership

The Imperial Order is led by the Grandmaster, who holds overall authority. The Master of the Order, a separate position, oversees the more combat-oriented and field-deployed members of the Order and also sits on the High Council.

Role

The High Council advises the Grandmaster and the Emperor on matters related to the Force and the activities of the Imperial Order. It oversees doctrine, training standards, internal discipline, and the coordination of the Order’s various branches and Service Corps. Unlike the old Jedi Council, the High Council of the Imperial Order exists firmly within the structure of the Empire and serves the New Order.
