Training & Academies

Roundel of the Imperial Order Training within the Imperial Order reflects both the traditions of the old Jedi and the practical realities of a galaxy still recovering from the Clone Wars. Younger candidates remain preferred, but the Order no longer excludes adults. Two decades after the formation of the Empire, the Imperial Order continues to rebuild its numbers and strength.

Recruitment

Force-sensitive individuals of various ages are identified across the Empire. Children and adolescents are still the primary focus of recruitment, but capable adults are accepted and trained. Enclaves across the galaxy take in both young Initiates and older recruits who show potential and loyalty to the New Order.

Training Path

The traditional progression of Initiate to Apprentice to Knight remains in place. Adult recruits often move more quickly into the Apprentice stage once they demonstrate basic control and understanding, though the full path to Knighthood is still required.

Philosophy of Training

Instruction within the Imperial Order balances the older Jedi emphasis on discipline, self-control, and understanding of the Force with the hard lessons learned during the Clone Wars and the early years of the Empire. Practical skill, loyalty to the New Order, and the ability to operate effectively within Imperial structures are valued alongside traditional Force training.

Commanderies and Enclaves

Most early and intermediate training takes place at Enclaves. Commanderies, as the regional headquarters of the Order in each Oversector, provide higher-level coordination, advanced instruction when needed, and oversight of training standards within their region. Training does not have to occur at a Commandery, but each Commandery remains responsible for the quality and direction of instruction under its authority.
