Siege Operations

Scout Trooper Siege Operations is the offensive arm of Battlestation Command. It is responsible for the Empire’s most powerful planetary assault platforms and heavy siege vessels, designed to break planetary shields, devastate surface defenses, and force the surrender of hostile worlds.

Role and Responsibilities

When a world resists Imperial authority and conventional forces are insufficient or too costly to commit, Siege Operations is called upon. Its stations and vessels deliver overwhelming firepower capable of reducing even the most heavily defended planets to submission.

Primary Assets

The most iconic platforms under Siege Operations are the Torpedo Spheres, massive stations built specifically to overwhelm planetary energy shields through concentrated proton torpedo barrages. Siege Operations also operates Onager-class Star Destroyers, specialized vessels designed for long range planetary bombardment and shield disruption. Other specialized siege platforms and heavy ordnance stations fall under this command as well.

Strategic Use

Siege Operations assets are rarely deployed lightly. Their presence alone is often enough to compel a world to negotiate. When used, they represent the Empire’s willingness to apply decisive and total force in the pursuit of order.
