The Imperial Armies of the Empire

line

Army troopersThe Armies of the Empire represent the massive ground forces of the Imperial Army. Organized into a clear hierarchy from Sector Armies down to individual Squads, these formations provide the Emperor with the ability to project overwhelming power on any world in the galaxy.

Structure

The Imperial Army is ultimately organized into whata re known as the Twenty Numbered Armies, one for each Priority Oversector. Below them are Sector Armies, Systems Armies, Armies, Corps, Battlegroups, Regiments, Battalions, Companies, Platoons, and Squads. This structure allows for both large-scale strategic operations and precise tactical execution.

Major Formations

Numbered Armies are the largest standard formations, responsible for entire Oversectors.

The Grand Armies are the elite assault commands personally led by the Grand Generals. These highly mobile forces are deployed for the most critical campaigns and can operate independently or in coordination with the Imperial Navy.

Flexibility and Power

Thanks to the standardized Order of Battle and the ability to augment units as needed, the Imperial Army can adapt to any threat. From holding entire sectors to launching lightning strikes on key worlds, the Armies of the Empire are the foundation of the New Order's military dominance.
