Army Special Forces
Army Special Forces are the premier elite units of the Imperial Army. Tasked with missions too sensitive, dangerous, or complex for regular divisions, they serve as the Army's most versatile and lethal instrument. Imperial Army Pathfinders (Shadow Scouts)
Imperial Army Pathfinders, commonly known by their nickname "Shadow Scouts," are the reconnaissance and special operations specialists of Army Special Forces. These highly trained operatives excel at operating deep behind enemy lines, gathering vital intelligence, and conducting sabotage and disruption missions with minimal support.
Role and Doctrine
Pathfinders focus on deep reconnaissance, infiltration, sabotage, and unconventional warfare. Their doctrine emphasizes stealth, self-reliance, and the ability to adapt to rapidly changing situations while remaining undetected for extended periods.
Organization and Training
Selection for the Pathfinders is among the most demanding in the Imperial military. Candidates undergo rigorous physical, mental, and tactical testing. Training covers advanced survival techniques, infiltration methods, long-range reconnaissance, sabotage, and independent mission planning.
Heavy Strike and Elite Armored Units
Heavy Strike and Elite Armored Units serve as the powerful armored fist of Army Special Forces. These formations combine the discipline and advanced training of special forces with overwhelming heavy armor and firepower, allowing them to smash through fortified positions or deliver decisive blows when stealth is no longer an option.
Role and Doctrine
These units are deployed for high intensity assaults, breakthrough operations, and heavy support missions. Their doctrine emphasizes coordinated armored strikes, rapid response to emerging threats, and the ability to operate alongside lighter special forces teams when brute force is required.
Organization and Training
Selection draws from the Army's most skilled armored vehicle crews and infantry. Training focuses on advanced armored tactics, combined arms operations, endurance under fire, and integration with reconnaissance elements such as the Pathfinders.
